Executive Director
Don Moseley
Don Moseley, M.A., has worked at non-profit organizations since 1981. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Non-Profit Management and is a Colorado Trust Fellow. He has experience working with victims of crime, homeless families, abused and neglected children and youth, and adults suffering with long-term mental illness. He also was executive director of Mongu Nutrition Center for three years in Zambia, Africa. Before coming to Ralston House, he worked for eight years at Family Tree as a managing director overseeing Gemini Residential Treatment Center for youth, House of Hope homeless shelter and the Gifts and Community Support Program.  He has been Executive Director of Ralston House since 2006.

Forensic Interviewer/Therapist
Tricia Kelly
Tricia Kelly, M.A., LPC, has been assisting children and families for more than ten years by providing crisis intervention, professional support and referrals. In addition to forensic interviewing and victim advocacy, Tricia is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado. She serves on the board of directors of WINGS Foundation, a statewide agency providing support services to women and men who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Ms. Kelly was chosen as 2009’s awardee of the prestigious Deanna Griswould Award for Outstanding Victim Advocate with the Non-profit Sector by the Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance.

Forensic Interviewer/Therapist
Linda Mikow
Linda Mikow, MA, LPC, has been a Forensic Interviewer/Therapist since 2002, and has conducted more than 2,000 forensic interviews. She has worked for Ralston House since August 2006, and prior to that she worked at the Jefferson County Children’s Alliance.  Linda has close to 21 years working with abused children and their families.  She worked at Family Tree Women In Crisis for 12 years working with children and their mothers who were domestic violence victims.  She worked for one year as a Research Clinician at the University of Denver, where she conducted developmental assessments and trauma assessments of children who were exposed to domestic violence and facilitated a parenting program with their mothers.  She worked at the Cleo Wallace Center with abused children for over three years and at Excelsior Youth Center with abused and delinquent female adolescents for six months.  Linda has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado.

Forensic Interviewer/Therapist & Volunteer Coordinator
Rhea Staniszewski
Rhea Staniszewski, MSW, LSW, is a bilingual Forensic Interviewer/Therapist and Volunteer Coordinator for Ralston House. For the past nine years, Rhea has worked almost exclusively with child and adult victims of abuse, neglect and domestic violence in various capacities, including crisis intervention, short-term counseling, case management, program management and development, grant writing and volunteer management. Rhea recently completed her hours to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Colorado.  In September of 2008, she was selected to join a team of professionals that studied family violence in New Zealand for four weeks.  In addition to her work at Ralston House, Rhea is a volunteer for both the City of Westminster and CASA, a non-profit agency providing child advocacy services, and Metro Bright Beginnings, a non-profit agency providing child literacy and development information to families with children under age 3.  Rhea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Spanish and Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is a licensed social worker in the State of Colorado.  She also holds a Social Work with Latino/a/s Certificate from the University of Denver. Rhea joined the Ralston House team in April of 2009. 

Forensic Interviewer/Therapist
Karla Hallacy 
Karla Hallacy, M.A., L.P.C., joined Ralston House in 2009. Prior to Ralston House, Ms. Hallacy worked at Family Tree as a therapist for the Gemini adolescent program and the Community Family Resource Team providing intensive in-home services for adolescents and families. Ms. Hallacy has experience as a case manager for Family Tree’s Housing and Family Services program and for Volunteers of America’s Brandon Center, working with homeless women and children. She has been working with adolescents and adults since 1996, including therapy for women and children survivors of domestic violence and adolescents struggling with substance abuse. Since 2006, she has also maintained a private practice, seeing individuals, couples and families. Ms. Hallacy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado.

Victim/Family Support Advocate
Jill Adams
Jill Adams, MSW, is a bilingual Victim/Family Support Advocate for Ralston House. She has worked with children who are victims of abuse and neglect since 2003, by providing crisis intervention, behavior modification, education, and counseling. Ms. Adams has also interned at the non-profit organization, Seeking Common Ground, assisting with program and volunteer management, as well as grant writing and speaking presentations about peace education for national and international high school students. She currently volunteers with middle school students in Denver Public Schools. Additionally, Ms. Adams has had the opportunity to participate in experiential learning of social work in Mexico. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Spanish and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Ms. Adams joined Ralston House in 2011.

Victim/Family Support Advocate
Gretchen Oliver
Gretchen Oliver, B.A., joined Ralston House in 2011 as a Victim/Family Support Advocate. Ms. Oliver graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Her experience includes working at the State of Colorado Division of Youth Corrections with youth offenders in detention facilities, and working with adults through the Jefferson County Probation Drug and Alcohol Unit. For the eight years prior to working at Ralston House, Ms. Oliver worked for Jefferson County Human Services, in Child Protection Intake, where she conducted investigations of physical abuse, neglect, domestic violence and sex abuse. Her cases with Child Protection Intake sometimes involved investigations at Ralston House. Additionally, she served on the multi-disciplinary team for child sexual abuse cases in the First Judicial District.

Forensic Nurse Examiner
Patty Keller
Patty Keller, RN, MSN, Forensic CNS, SANE-A, SANE-P has been a nurse since 1982. In 2006, Patty received her graduate certificate in correctional forensic nursing and in 2007 received her Master’s Degree in nursing with a forensic specialty. Patty has been a registered nurse for over 25 years, working with children with a variety of health problems at University Hospital (3 years) and Children’s Hospital (12 years). Most recently, Patty has provided care for adults and children following surgery at Centrum Surgical Center. Patty has been working with sexually assaulted women and men since 2004, performing nearly 200 forensic examinations. She has been conducting forensic examinations for child victims of sexual assault at Ralston House since November 2007. Patty was just published in the Journal of Forensic Nursing for her literature review on “Injuries to the Cervix in Sexual Trauma.” She continues to carry out research on injuries to the cervix. Patty has had the opportunity to present her work on the cervix at the convention of the International Association of Forensic Nurses 2008.  She is also involved in educating law enforcement and victim advocates on the medical examination of adults and children with concerns for sexual assault.

Grants Specialist
Kathy Pettit
Kathy Pettit joined Ralston House in September 2008, as the Grants Specialist.  She has over 16 years of grants experience for nonprofit organizations, as well as over 27 years of administrative experience for nonprofit and for-profit companies. Most recently, Kathy worked at Family Tree in Jefferson County, managing numerous grants for service programs in the areas of domestic violence, homelessness and child abuse. In addition to grant writing and grants administration, Kathy provides administrative/customer services support to assist Ralston House in meeting its business needs.
